Freebie: Brand Style Guide Template Every Tuesday
When you’ve decided to create a style template, it’s also important to take into account the formats available in your audience. The first type of size is on paper. Then there are a number of digital formats available that are more flexible in terms of designing a style guide that you store as an image on your hard drive or convert it to a PDF format to print.
The paper size is preferred by people who are not familiar with making the most of the image formats and therefore find it difficult to print a style guide on a CD. A typical style guide would need about five pages and five illustrations and images. However, when your template needs to be printed on paper, make sure you’ve taken different steps to choose the right type of paper.
First, try to find out what type of paper the printer uses. The most common printer is Watermark paper, which is quite thin and relatively cheap, but it’s also likely to bleed if you use it to print a template. If your template needs to be printed on this type of paper, try choosing thick paper. It can be hard to find a thick paper that can withstand the pressure of the printer, so there’s no point in trying to find one of these expensive printers if you’re just going to print a template.
Even if you want to use watermark paper, it will be very difficult to change the template without damaging the artwork. This is because the watermark paper has a little oily shine that can be easily bleached. If you choose another printer, there is no guarantee that the template will be created in the same way as the original. Therefore you notice that there are some unexpected changes.
The digital format of templates is ideal for many people, as it’s very easy to print them on your desktop and then print them on your desktop. This means that you upload them to your computer without any worries. There is no risk that your template will be bleached or accidentally modified so it doesn’t look like the original.
To print your template, make sure you have installed the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Templates should be printed on high quality paper, which is similar to watermark paper. There is no reason to try using other paper for printing because they tend to break the design and can’t withstand the pressure of the printer. Some printer may also print a template without giving you an alert or the ability to view the page before printing.
When creating your template, forget to choose the right type of template for your audience. If your target audience is in business, try to opt for a watermark template, which will be a little thicker and will also provide a greater degree of protection. You may also need to use a different format in documents for different audiences, because some are printed differently from others.
